Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist in meal preparation and food handling tasks to ensure smooth operations in our restaurant kitchen.
**Duties**:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables and portioning meat
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and mixers
- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes
- Dispose of waste and maintain proper food storage practices
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely completion of tasks
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food industry is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques is a plus
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
