**Responsibilities**:
- Teach Primary (K-2) & Mid-Level (3rd-5th grade) Music
- Teach Junior High (6th-8th grade) Music/Band/Choir
- Teach High School (9th-12th grade) Music/Band/Choir
- Perform rotating lunch duty and playground monitoring as needed
- Encourage a positive learning environment for all children
- Collaborate with other passionate teachers to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Respect and observe children's interests
- Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate
- Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance (8:00am-3:30pm M-F)
- Attend a summer in-service and weekly staff meetings
- Attend major community events
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school environment or with children
- High level of flexibility
- Excellent leadership, human relations, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter, well-organized, and a team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education
- Current AZ Teaching Certificate
