- **Position Overview**:
The Business Services Coordinator role is responsible for supporting operational, programmatic, and administrative management of the Community Health and Wellness (CHW) Division activities within Harris County Public Health (HCPH). Responsible for managing the flow of information between the different programs to ensure day-to-day business operations is efficient. Coordinate and support the administrative and business management, and/or staff activities within the CHW Division. Ability to think and act on own initiative in providing process management of financial and administrative support functions.
- **Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Assist in all aspects of the day-to-day financial operations of the division including, but not limited to financial preparation and management, budget preparation, purchasing, invoice processing, and revenue tracking and denial management.-
- Assist in the coordination of all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the division including, but not limited to human resources management, maintenance of personnel records/files, training, contracts management, and policy development and fulfillment.-
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle tasks and requests expeditiously and pro-actively; and follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.-
- Research, develop, draft, implement and revise business policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines. Evaluate and evolve current operational procedures and provide strategic recommendations for improvements as needed.-
- Monitor, control and manage business operations to meet organizational expectations and goals.-
- Follow up with internal and external stakeholders ensuring tasks are completed timely.-
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and procedures.-

- Bachelor's Degree in a Health related or Business field

**Experience**:

- At least 2 years of health care experience or relevant administrative experience

**Licensure**:

- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with the Electronic Health Records System (EHR) Epic.
