**Job Summary**: The Matching Grant Case Manager provides services to refugees and other qualified immigrants to support a positive resettlement experience and the achievement of client self-sufficiency. These services include provision of employment services and core maintenance assistance with a goal of achieving early self-sufficiency for clients via employment from enrollment through the 240th day. The Matching Grant Case Manager works closely with clients, colleagues, and external parties to develop plans to meet individual client needs and employment preferences utilizing a broad range of financial, medical, social, vocational, and other services and resources in accordance with program requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide culturally-appropriate, linguistically-appropriate, trauma-informed, respectful case management services to clients and families.
- Conduct home visits and intake services with clients to assess needs. Develop self-sufficiency plans and timelines in partnership with each client. Provide individualized support through direct services, referrals, and advocacy.
- Assess and monitor client progress to support their attainment of established goals, address challenges, and to ensure that available resources are utilized.
- Provide one-on-one job consultation sessions for program participants to assist job search, resume building, mock interviews, and other related assistance.
- Outreach to and establish partnerships with local employers to diversify job options for clients.
- Detail each client interaction accurately, completely, confidentially, and in accordance with program requirements. Input client information in database(s) and files and assist with tracking and reporting as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with coworkers and partner organizations. Build and maintain relationships with area service providers for the benefit of clients.
- Ensure that ORIS meets the Matching Grant in-kind contribution each fiscal year.
- Oversee financial assistance for clients enrolled in the Matching Grant Program.
- May train and lead the activities of volunteers and interns.
- Participate in regular training, case review, and staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Experience working across multiple languages and cultures, particularly with refugees or immigrant populations with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- At least 2 years of experience in applicable human services positions. A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in direct service with diverse communities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients with varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently document and report on activities; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the local social services community.
- Ability to be self-directed, motivated, and an independent problem solver. Ability to organize and manage multiple client needs and tasks simultaneously, prioritize duties, and use time effectively.
- Ability to create and maintain healthy professional boundaries with clients.
- Strong relationship building and networking skills; ability to effectively build internal and external relationships.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable private vehicle. Travel around Massachusetts is essential.
- Proficiency with common computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, if needed.
- Written and spoken proficiency in English is required, and proficiency in a language spoken by ORIS’s New American clients is preferred (Dari, Pashto, Arabic, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Dinka, Vietnamese, Malay, etc.).

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
