**Role**:The **Smokemaster** is responsible for monitoring the temperatures of the smokehouses. the wooding of the fires, and taking the pH readings of the product. The **Smokemaster** is responsible for the accurate recording of data. We are fully prepared to provide on-the-job training if you can bring us an interest in learning, attention to quality and detail, and are looking for a unique career opportunity. Warehousing and Logistics experience is helpful as well as food manufacturing experience if you have it.

**Responsibilities**:

- Record the temperatures of the product, take the pH, and determine how much wood should be placed on the fire every two hours.
- Accuracy checks of the smokehouse temperature probes.
- Calibration of the pH meter.
- Transport wood for fires from outside storage and ensure there is enough.
- Assist with sanitation duties as necessary
- Ensure food safety and food defense within the plant.

We look for employees who effective, clear, and concise communication skills, computer/technology literacy and problem-solving skills. You must have day to day flexibility and be able to work in varying temperatures. The hours for this position are from 3:30 PM until midnight each week night.

**Compensation**:

- We provide an amazing benefit package that include fully paid medical, dental, vision and a lot of other benefits. The starting wage for this job is $21.00/hour.
