Because the whole house contributes to the excellent service that occurs during slow and rush periods, Pirouette uses a tip-pool system to share tips with hourly workers in the whole house, including kitchen, porters, and retail. The daily total tips are divided by hours worked, weighted by role, and paid out biweekly with the regular paycheck. Pirouette is a cashless operation, and this includes tips.

**Porter/Food Runner Position Description ($12-15 per hour depending on experience)**:

- Clean and reset tables after diners have finished and left.
- Remove used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables during service, between courses.
- Clean up spills, food, and crumbs from tables during service.
- Bring new cutlery and glassware as new diners sit down.
- Work with servers to bring out meal orders.
- Work with retail staff to replenish and maintain inventory.
- Support retail during tastings and special events by supplying new glasses and wines, as needed.
- Support retail staff during inventory checks.
- Assist with receiving wine and kitchen product deliveries.
- Help clean the dining area at the close of day.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
