Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time Payroll Coordinator. This is an excellent career opportunity with a great company. Must be willing to work in the Warwick, RI office, this is not a remote role.

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Corporate Payroll Administrator with all payroll and benefit related functions. This includes, but limited to, maintaining practices that ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll tax regulation, timely and accurate processing of hourly and salaried pay, and implementation of strong internal controls. The Payroll Coordinator will be the liaison to maintain and update the Payroll System to support all time reporting changes, implementation of new payroll codes and confirmation of the timely filing of all taxes, audits, and other reporting.

**Qualifications**:

- ADP Payroll software experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate experience with MS Excel, MS Outlook, and/or similar programs

**Responsibilities**:
Payroll
- Assist multi-state locations with payroll processing.
- Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency, ensure data accuracy and prevention of user errors.
- Troubleshoot all payroll-related issues within the payroll system.
- Maintain employee records in payroll system.
- Review and approve payroll-related payments (taxes, deductions, child support, benefits, etc.)
- Work with Payroll system to ensure all taxes for team members and employer codes are set-up in the system correctly
- Adherence to internal company policies
- Produces scheduled and ad-hoc reports pertaining to payroll and human resources requirements.
- Data entry, mail processing, scanning/filing
- Miscellaneous tasks as needed

- Works with benefits broker and/or vendors to correct discrepancies, process payments and ensures credits for terminations are received
