Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including order entry, invoicing, and order tracking. Coordinate with production and shipping departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with inquiries, quotes, and order processing. Collaborate closely with sales representatives to provide exceptional support throughout the sales process.
- Procurement: Become familiar with our current vendors to create POs for projects. Discover and vet new vendors to improve sales process, become more efficient, and lower costs.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Monarch Metal, Inc.'s product offerings and capabilities. Provide product information and recommendations to customers based on their needs and specifications.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries. Update customer accounts and databases with relevant information and notes.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve customer issues and challenges effectively, escalating complex issues to management when necessary. Proactively address potential problems to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the customer service and sales support functions. Provide feedback on systems, procedures, and customer experiences to drive positive change.
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service or sales support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience working with in-person and remote coworkers is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and order processing.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience with CRM and Netsuite software is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and a customer-centric mindset.
