Heritage Tavern is an independent restaurant that is family owned and operated. We offer an upscale atmosphere with fine dining service and a fun craft cocktail bar. We have been successfully operating since 2013 and offer a vibrant menu with fresh farm to table influences and old world classics.

We work with local ingredients from farmers in Dane county and high quality meats from our own animals and meat processing facility.

**Our Menu**

We are known for certain classic dishes that will always be on our menu (Bouillabaisse, Pork Schnitzel, Crispy Pork Belly and Tuna, Beet Salad, Ham Sandwich, Heritage Burger). But, we spice things up with seasonal specials and new dishes the kitchen has created. _**Don't miss French Week We are in the middle of our first French themed week of menu specials and wine pairings. **_Get excited and learn with our team about worldly cuisine and wines

Cocktails and wine are an important aspect of our menu at Heritage Tavern. We have an extensive cocktail program and serve outstanding wines and local beers.

**Job Requirements**

Must be professional, hardworking, and able to grasp menu nuances.

Must recognize the importance of providing exceptional service and always strive to give our guests a positive and memorable experience.

Additional Details:

- Fine dining experience preferred and helpful
- Full food service is offered at the bar and bar staff are expected to guide guests through their dining experience, as a team
- Assisting with opening and closing duties will be expected
- Assisting with prep work during daytime hours is requested, based on scheduling availability
- Demonstrate spirits knowledge and appreciation for wine service
- Use Toast POS to enter food and beverage orders
- Use cash drawer (as needed) and make change accurately
- Collaborate with BOH and FOH staff to create a positive work environment

Fox Heritage Farms/Willow Creek is our sister company, located in Prairie du Sac. We raise pure Berkshire hogs on small WI family farms and operate a meat processing facility that sells products both wholesale and retail.

We also run Heritage Catering and provide high quality catering services to both private and corporate customers in and around Madison.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
