**Job Summary**:
This is a part-time position working less than 30 hours per week.
UWG Alumni and Constituent Engagement is seeking a
customer-centric team member to join the UWG Travel program.
UWG Travel offers foreign and domestic educational group tours
to alumni, faculty, and friends of the University of West Georgia.
As the first and primary point of contact for our travelers, this role
is crucial to the guest experience. The coordinator is responsible
for providing top-notch customer service over the phone, in
volume of data entry, the data integrity of our passenger
database, processing reservations, pre-trip and post-trip
passenger communications, and providing administrative support
to all aspects of our travel program. The coordinator supports the
process of planning and marketing programs, liaises complex
administrative details with third-party tour vendors, provides
outstanding customer service to alumni program participants,
prepares reports, and completes financial transactions related to
these programs. They ensure alumni participation in the Travel program is tracked in the university¿s alumni database. Must pass
motor vehicle and background check investigation.

**Responsibilities**:
**1 -**
Marketing, promoting, and recruiting for Travel Program trips:
Develop digital marketing and promotional materials to solicit
participation in upcoming Travel Program trips. Create and
implement social media campaigns to advertise upcoming trips
Program e-newsletter.

**2 -**
Liaison with travel company representatives: Work closely with
representatives from travel companies, Mayflower Cruises &
Tours and Collette Tours, to understand all trip logistics for
booking and travel for Travel Program participants. Work with
representatives to book travelers, manage payments, enter data,
and collect information from travelers in preparation for trips.

information according to the Travel Program and travel company
