Description:
**Dykstras Auto - Grand Rapids **is seeking a talented **Calibration & Diagnostic Technician** with expertise in Advanced Driver Assistance System Calibrations to lead our BRAND NEW Calibration facility at our **Dykstras Auto - Grand Rapids** location, 4782 44th St SE, Kentwood, MI 49512. In this role, you will perform a wide range of calibrations, be the primary Point-of-Contact for Busines-to-Business relationships, and provide training for all our new ADAS Calibration Technicians. You will be expected to follow OW specifications, repair standards, and detailed instructions to complete the required jobs. Training will be provided by GreatWater Garages, as well as a robust virtual support team and continuing education in new vehicle technology.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Customer service-focused and the ability to develop relationships and deliver operational consistency
- Perform static and dynamic ADAS Calibrations on foreign, domestic and EV (electric) vehicles onsite
- Troubleshoot complex calibration repairs
- Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed
- Adequately explain ADAS calibration specifications and repair planning needs to include collision repair center personnel, insurance adjusters, and direct customers
- Basic knowledge of removing and installing vehicle parts - Example: Bumper, trim panels, mirrors
- Complete pre
- and post-scans with OE and/or aftermarket tools and communicate outcomes effectively
- After training completion, must be able to complete static and dynamic calibrations per OE specifications
- Communicate with the field team to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Responsible for ensuring tooling software updates are completed immediately
- Accountable for assigned inventory (including vehicles, mobile devices, laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, and other equipment provided)
- Participate in virtual (online) training sessions
- Complete assigned training and certifications
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through our company purpose and core values
- Ability to effectively lead and delegate work with other ADAS technicians
- Ability to train new ADAS technicians from other shop locations at the Grand Rapids location
- Ability to travel to and remain on-site for up to (2) weeks at our shops adding Calibration capabilities
- Maintain a well-organized work area

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications, Education & Experience**
- Electrical Diagnostic Knowledge
- Automotive repair experience preferred but not required
- Trade school experience a plus
- ASE or I-CAR certifications a plus
- Ability to learn and understand collision repair processes and terminology
- Successful completion of ADAS Calibration Training
- Understanding of technology & basic software programs
- Ability to learn Aftermarket and OEM diagnostic scan tools and factory software
- Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
- Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training
- Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision
