Job Overview:
Hello, I am looking for a part time billing assistant. We are still paper charts. Every day the billing superbills need to be uploaded with insurance IDs and authorizations from our office computer into the software, very simple, easy task. Current staff is overwhelmed and cannot complete on a timely basis. You can arrive at 5 pm and finish daily in 1 hour or come every other day 2x week and complete the weeks billing. Also missing charts and superbills must be pulled and uploaded per the biller's request weekly. Additional task include the printing and mailing of billing statements and calling patients with overdue balance. Additionally calling insurance companies for denied claims and billing problems. This can be done remotely from home on a weekly basis. Certification and prior medical billing experience is required. Flexible pay based on experience, flexible hours are acceptable. Duties must be completed by the end of the week. Please call to discuss.
