**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Licensing to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the timely execution of licensing documents, working closely with our engineering and regulatory teams to meet all necessary requirements. This position plays a critical role in the successful deployment of our advanced nuclear reactors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the licensing process for nuclear reactors, ensuring all documents are completed and submitted on time.
- Collaborate with engineering and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with all licensing requirements.
- Manage internal and external communications related to licensing activities.
- Work directly with the Head of Regulatory Affairs and Chief Nuclear Officer to ensure all licensing targets are on schedule.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update licensing strategies accordingly.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to facilitate the approval process and address any concerns or issues.
- Ensure all licensing activities align with Valar Atomics' strategic goals and objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- No specific degree required; however, an engineering background is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical or nuclear engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience managing nuclear reactor licensing processes.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams with direct reports.
- Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of nuclear regulatory requirements and processes.
