**Responsibilities**:
- Post payments accurately and promptly to patient accounts
- Reconcile payments received with accounts receivable
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in payments
- Ensure compliance with billing and coding regulations
- Collaborate with the billing team to address payment posting issues
- Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding systems
- Familiarity with medical records management
- Proficiency in medical billing processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
**Job Type**: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
**Education**:
- High school or equivalent (required)
**Experience**:
- Medical billing/collection: 2 years (required)
