Private Preschool Teacher

**Qualifications and requirements**
12 or more units in CHDV / ECE courses. Completed with a passing grade. OR Child Development Associate Certification.
Experience working in licensed childcare centers.
Must be able to lift up to 20lb
Must be physically able to get up and down to complete tasks and intact with children at their level.

**Responsibilities** will vary as determined by the position offered but will include:
Maintain professionalism through positive and welcoming behavior.
Interact and redirect students thru positive direction and setting clear and age-appropriate expectations.
Communicate with parents of students enrolled.
Willingness and flexibility in various age groups and preschool tasks.
Follow policies and procedures set forth by the school and employee handbook.

**Who we are**
Our school provides care for ages 2 to 6 year olds. We are open year-round with a school-age program in the summer. Our philosophy with our Christian-based curriculum is to put God first and teach the children to love one another.

Adventureland Preschool is a non-profit ministry of San Diego Christian Center

1305 Deodar Rd, Escondido, CA (next to Rock Springs Elementary School)

Hours of operation: 7am-5:30 pm Monday through Friday

Pay: $19.86 - $20.65 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
