Job Overview:
The Housekeeper position is responsible for the cleaning of all areas of the Inn, as well as, the maintenance and upkeep of the supply rooms and common areas. The Housekeeper will also assist with the on-site housekeeping services as needed.

**Responsibilities**:
Duties include:

- clean guest rooms and bathrooms, as well as corridors, stairways, lounges, and common spaces (includes remaking beds with clean linens, vacuuming, washing surfaces and floors, windows, polishing furniture, dusting)
- restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, water bottles, coffee supplies, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, bath tissue, replace dirty linens with clean items
- trash removal from rooms, separate trash and recycling items and place in outside dumpsters
- transport all dirty laundry to laundry room
- distribute linen, towels and room supplies to housekeeping supply closets
- respond to guest queries and requests
- ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
- observe and report damage of inn property

Approximately 25 to 30 hours per week (can be more if you want); Start time is 10:00 AM, on 4-6 days per week (including weekends). Competitive pay for hospitality experience and customer service oriented applicants, and lunch is provided (you can take away or eat on site).

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of housekeeping management practices
- Excellent communication skills

Training will be provided by current staff and owner/innkeeper.

Position reports to owner / innkeeper and assistant innkeeper.
