**POSITION OVERVIEW**
- Full Time; 40 hours per week
- Shift primarily will be 7p - 7a, every other weekend.
- Prior inpatient experience is preferred.

As a Mental Health Associate, you will:

- Perform direct and indirect patient care activities for mental health patients, including technical duties in support of the delivery of nursing care and under supervision of a RN.
- Lead and co-facilitate educational and activity groups.
- Assist with milieu management to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.


**Minimum Requirements**

**Experience**
- One (1) year behavioral health experience required.

**License and Certification**
- ** BLS**

**Education**
- Bachelor's degree required in Psychology, Sociology, or Education. 4 years of experience in behavioral health setting required in lieu of degree.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 15 days of hire.
- Knowledge of basic Medical Terminology and abnormal human behavior.
