Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver course content in the field of sbiological sciences, focusing on adult education and language instruction.
- Teaches in line with the course objectives.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and activities to promote student engagement and learning.
- Use learning technology features of Schoology, to enhance the online learning experience.
- Attend regular department /program meetings as scheduled.
- Provide timely feedback and assessment of student work.
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in adult education.
- Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Biological Sciences or a related field with at least 18 graduate units on Biological Sciences
- Experience working with adult learners, preferably in an educational setting. Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is highly desirable. Knowledge of learning technologies and ability to effectively integrate them into instruction. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with library services and resources for research purposes.Note: This is a part-time position as an adjunct instructor. The schedule may vary depending on course availability.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
