**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY**:
The primary role of the Landscape Crew Member is to provide maintenance support to facility operations. Must be mechanically inclined and be a self-starter with a high awareness for safety.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform grounds maintenance activities including, but not limited to, mowing grass, trimming shrubs, weeding, trimming trees, spreading mulch and perennial maintenance.
- Responsible for the safe operation of a variety of power tools to mow and trim the lawn, trim shrubs, hedges and trees.
- Rake, mulch, and pull weeds in the landscape beds.
- Assist with the replacement of trees, shrubs, and perennials.
- Maintain and repair tools and mowers as needed.
- Assist supervisor with various landscape design projects and hardscaping, such as paver installation, retaining walls, fences and more.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Prior experience with commercial lawn equipment preferred.
- Skilled at operating a Zero Turn Lawn mower.
- Able to hold and operate a gas engine string trimmer for approximately 2 hours at a time.
- Able to trim shrubs using a power hedge clipper.
- Experience in Hardscaping preferred but not required.

**PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT**:

- Must be able to lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
