Job Title: Associate Clinical Social Worker

Type: Full-Time.
Location: South Los Angeles, CA
Social Service Professionals, "the professional's choice" for careers in Social Work and Therapy is looking for an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) to work at a permanent supportive housing site for TAY and TAY families in South Los Angeles, CA. The clinician will diagnose and develop treatment plans for clients as well as facilitate individual and family therapy. This is a full-time position with benefits available. Your efforts will make a difference in the lives of others everyday
Examples of Essential Duties:
Evaluate patients’ psycho-social needs;
Evaluate patients’ family/social situation to support a treatment plan;
Make recommendations to the healthcare team for appropriate psycho-social support;
Utilize community resources to assist patients’ psycho-social needs;
Document history, care plans and prepare reports as needed.
Education Requirement:
Graduation from an accredited university or college with a Masters degree in Social Work.
Qualifications:
Current registration as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)
Current AHA-approved CPR card
Recruiting Guidelines:
Skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, logic and reasoning, judgment, time management techniques and data entry;
Ability to make improvements or take corrective action;
Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources;
Organize, plan, and prioritize work;

Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintain them over time;
Work within a team as well as independently;
Speak, read, and write effectively as appropriate for the needs of the audience while demonstrating the proper use of grammar.
