**Front Desk Manager**

West Michigan Nephrology is looking to hire a part time, Front Desk Manager. One of our current Front Desk Managers is retiring at the end of the year. We offer paid holidays, vacation and profit sharing after required employment period.

This position requires strong attention to detail and critical thinking.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Handling tasks from the physicians
- Being the main point of contact for front desk staff questions
- Answering the phone
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking out patients
- Creating the schedule template in Epic
- Scheduling biopsies
- Managing incoming referrals through fax and Great Lakes Health Connect
- Inputting the on-call schedule for the hospital
- Communicating with drug reps
- Prior authorizations
- Keeping accurate cancellation list(s) and filling the physicians schedules when there are openings
- Send schedules to all Dialysis clinics and answering service

We will have two rounds of interviews. The first interview will be with our Practice Manager. The second round of interviews with be with some of the WMN Physicians.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
