Assistant Supervisor, Paint Shop

**Primary Purpose**: Supervise the day-to-day operation of the facilities paint shop, along with performing the tasks required to support the team and associated equipment.
**Basic Requirements**:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience as a skilled painter; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license.
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills in the English language; and basic math skills.
- Must be proficient with computer software programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Must be able to complete tasks assigned within time constraints implied by park guidelines.
- Provide excellent service to guests and ambassadors.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
- Must be willing to comply with and ensure ambassadors comply with all grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Assist management with training, scheduling, and supervision of staff
- Practice proper mixing of chemicals and caulking for special conditions
- Oversees repairs and services provided by outside paint contractors
- Performs preventive maintenance and schedules work for the team
