**FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full Time - Monday through Friday, 7am - 3:30pm**
**Wage Range: $24- $27 per hour D.O.E. - Plus generous benefit package**
**Summary**
REACO Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., a reputable HVAC and sheet metal contracting company, is currently in search of a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. In this multifaceted role, you will play a crucial part in our finance department by performing various accounting tasks and supporting the financial operations of the company.
Your responsibilities will extend to coordinating with the Purchasing Department to enter purchase orders (POs) and assisting the purchasing department with various tasks. Working within our warm and friendly office environment, you will be assisting the office with light customer service responsibilities and general office administrative duties.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Purchase Order Data Entry: Accurately enter and process purchase orders (POs) into the accounting system.
- Accounting Tasks: Support the accounting department with accounts receivable, billing, scanning, filing, and accounting related tasks.
- Purchasing Department Support: Collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain vendor relationships, track orders, and manage inventory levels. Assist in researching and sourcing products as needed.
- Additional administrative duties as assigned.

1. One or two years of related accounting experience and/or training
2. Proficient in updating and maintaining various Excel spreadsheets.
3. Competence in working with Windows 10 computer systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
4. Ability to quickly learn and operate proprietary software, with a focus on Foundation construction software.
**Education and/or Experience**
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Accounting background preferred.
