Leader of the New Product Development (NPD) Program Management team reporting to the Director of AMG Program Management.

This position is for a leader located in the Scottsdale office who will hire and manage a team of program managers based in Bangalore, India. The employees reporting to this leader are each responsible for cross functional leadership of the product development process for multiple programs at any given time. While there are many globally dispersed functional groups that own and deliver significant portions towards the development of our products, the program managers are the central logístical contact for a given product that the organization looks to for driving accountability and results. They lead throughout the product development process: feasibility, planning, design, product validation, qualification, sampling, and ramp. They develop and maintain detailed program schedules, identify, and address gaps, and proactively assess and mitigate risk throughout the execution.

This leader of the program management team will be responsible for hiring a staff of approximately 10 program managers to support the AMG Center of Excellence in Bangalore, India. This leader not only will coach and mentor the program managers, but also make significant contribution towards improvement of our product development processes by identifying weaknesses and working with various groups in the organization to implement sustainable improvements. This manager must be willing to work flexible hours to support team activities in both Scottsdale and Bangalore. Up to 20% international travel will be required as well.

**Qualifications**
- Engineering degree with 10+ years of experience, preferably Electrical Engineering
- Experience leading complex programs throughout the development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and systems
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills (at all levels of the organization)
- Experience in leading teams across cultural boundaries and managing remote teams
- Curiosity, persistence, and assertiveness
- Clarity and independence of thought - ability to close on decisions (and builds organizational support)
- Experience with compliance to quality management systems, both internal and industry standards
- Engineering experience in product development in the semiconductor industry, with supply chain familiarity
- First-hand knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (design, fab, assembly, test, reliability)
- Technical skills within one’s own area of expertise, and comfortable conversing and operating outside of one’s own technical discipline
