We are adding a Veterinary Assistant to our growing team of 5 doctors. We just finished expanding but are currently in the middle of remodeling. We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant who can help us as a team and is motivated to learn.

We strive to provide the best care for our patients by working seamlessly with each other. Experience is required.

**Pay depending on experience: $18.00 - $24.00 an hour**

**Requirements**:
- Must be comfortable with client communication, or open to developing this skill.- Handle animals with care- IV catheter placement- Venipuncture and performing in-house blood work (Idexx)- Obtaining radiographs- Prepare patients for surgery- Obtain urine samples via cystocentesis- Will assist a technician with appointments and treatments- Provide demonstrations for owners (ie. ear cleaning, giving medications, etc)- Have a knowledge base of commonly used medications, generate medication labels, and fill prescriptions- Assisting clients with a positive and helpful attitude- Cleaning and restocking
