**JOB TITLE**: Patient Scheduler/Intake Coordinator

**JOB STATUS**: Full-time
- **SALARY**: $20-22 an hour

**LOCATION**: Glendale, CA

Cordial Healthcare Providers is currently seeking to hire a part-time bilingual Patient
Scheduler/Intake Coordinator to start ASAP We are looking for applicants with outstanding customer service skills.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating and scheduling patient visits for our Nurse Practitioners.

Communicates any requests to change the schedule, missed or declined visits.
- Gathers patient’s health insurance information and intake information. Assures computer data entry for each patient is accurate and complete.
- Demonstrates customer service excellence consistently.
- Ensures all clinical visits are appropriately and accurately scheduled. Communicates with medical providers, patients and Home Health to determine schedule needs and availability including when scheduled visits are missed.
- Enters notes/special instructions needed for scheduling in the route sheets.
- Handles all calls concerning patient appointments.
- Ensures that new patients are seen and that follow-up requests are documented properly.
- Ensures patient's right to privacy, safety and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with

HIPPA regulations.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- 1 year of scheduling experience in a medical setting and working with older adults. (Preferred but not required)
- Bilingual in Farsi and Armenian is required.
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus, Medical Assistant certificate is a plus.
- Experience with basic computer software
- Excel, Microsoft word and Adobe Acrobat and the ability to learn electronic medical records.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work as a team member as well as individually.
- Ability to use mapping software to generate an efficient route/schedule for our medical providers.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize appointments, stay organized ensuring excellent patient experience and care.
- Experience with patient registration and collecting health insurance information.

**Schedule**

Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
