**Job Overview**:
**Essential functions include but are not limited to**:

- Responsible for acquiring critical demographic, financial, medical and insurance information and signed forms from patients in a professional, courteous, caring and compassionate atmosphere.
- Ensure patients are greeted and registered in a timely manner
- Ensure all patients are registered in the system prior to receiving service
- Listens to patients and takes actions to appropriately and successfully address patient concerns
- Obtain the necessary demographic, financial and medical insurance information
- Obtains patient’s and/or responsible party’s signatures on required registration form and provides required regulatory brochures as needed to patients and/or responsible party

**Qualifications**:

- One-year customer service experience required
- Healthcare registration or admitting experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with health care billing and authorization preferred
