**Work Schedule**:
The standard work schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm during the Academic Year.

7:00am - 6:00pm during the Summer Months

This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options. The expected remote work schedule for this position will be based upon the needs of the department.

**Job Summary**:
Rio Salado College (RSC) is seeking a Fiscal Director to lead the Business Services office. Plans, directs and administers fiscal services and internal control in the management of the accounting, finance and budgeting functions.

**Essential Functions**:
40% - Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews and evaluates the work of staff. Directs, plans, evaluates and coordinates functional and organizational standards and practices; leads the development and implementation of programs, policies and procedures. Serves as knowledge expert, overseeing, reviewing and providing analyses and recommendations regarding function-specific and district-wide issues.

30% - Evaluates and maintains fiscal integrity and policy and regulatory compliance of operations and systems; ensures compliance with codes, regulations and laws. Implements internal audit, risk assessment and management advisory programs. Exercises accountability for function activity and related decisions. Develops long and short-range financial plans and projections; provides input into the tactical, strategic and long-range planning.

10% - Oversees and directs the design and implementation of annual budget planning and preparation. Prepares, manages and administers budgets; monitors and approves expenditures; identifies resource needs and makes recommendations; administers and oversees contracts and procurement activities.

10% - Directs and administers financial management services and reporting. Develops goals and objectives. Provides project management; plans programs and training.

10% - Directs and implements the design and testing of fiscal systems, policies and procedures. Researches, analyzes, advises and resolves complex financial and strategic issues to respond to inquiries. Represents the department or District function to the public, other agencies and partners; responds to/resolves difficult or complex issues or complaints.
