Want to learn Table Games, but not sure where to start? Join our Dealer Trainee Program and Earn $15/hr. Program will begin on **June 25, 2024** and will take place Tuesday-Friday.

The program will take **18 weeks** and at the completion of the program, you will attend an audition to test all the skills and knowledge you obtained to become a part-time Table Games dealer with MGM National Harbor. As you successfully pass your audition, you will be scheduled in one of the three shifts (day, swing, or grave) depending on business needs.

**CLASS TIMES OFFERED**:

- 7:00 am - 11:00 am
- 11:30 am - 3:30 pm
- 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
- 8:30 pm - 12:30 am

**SKILLS OFFERED**:

- Blackjack
- Craps

**THE DAY-TO-DAY**:

- **Skill Development**: Practice essential dealing techniques such as shuffling, dealing cards, handling chips, and executing game-specific maneuvers for games like Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat, and Roulette.
- **Game Theory and Strategy**: Learn the rules and strategies for various casino games, including the mathematical foundations, house edge concepts, and managing different gaming situations.
- **Customer Interaction Training**: Engage in role-playing exercises to develop soft skills necessary for interacting with customers, maintaining a professional demeanor, and handling difficult situations.
- **Simulated Casino Environment**: Participate in simulations that mimic real-world casino scenarios, where trainees deal to each other and instructors, managing the flow of the game and practicing real-time customer interactions.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Possesses a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Excellent in basic math.
- Ability to attend all training classes.
- Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.
- Works well under pressure.

**THE DAY-TO-DAY UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROGRAM**:

- Ensure that all activities will reflect the policies, philosophies, and regulations of MGM and local Gaming Control Board
- Perform act of dealing several game types
- Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions; accurately exchanges cash or markers for chips.
