**Accounts Payable Specialist**

**Responsibilities**:

- Matching delivery packing slips to the open PO and matching those to supplier invoice to ensure accuracy of pricing and proper material was received.
- Maintain accuracy of checkbook.
- Print weekly check run for invoice payments from ERP system.
- Process wire payments in ERP system.
- Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with month end closing processes.
- Annual 1099 preparation and distribution as well as record keeping throughout the year.
- Answer overflow telephone calls.
- Open, balance and close daily entry and payment batches.
- Ensure all invoices for the month are in and entered prior to month end closing.
- Back up to AR when on vacation/sick.

**Requirements**:

- Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to use copier/scanner.
- Able to work independently, effectively and accurately is a must.
- Understand accounting basic concepts such as prepaid and accruals.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with the Finance team and other departments throughout the company.
- Attention to detail.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
