Our independent insurance business has been established for over 16 years, our CEO has been in the insurance industry 27 years we are trusted, dependable, and valuable asset to the trucking industry with over 20 employees and multiple locations. Our success is based on the relationships we build within our Team, our clients, potential clients, our community and the companies we work with. We assist our clients with starting their business, processing permits, IRP registration, commercial insurance, financing and more. We also invest our time and money by helping charities both local and abroad. As an independent insurance agency, we work for our clients, not one insurance company.

Our hours are Monday thru Friday either 7:30 - 4:30, 8:00 - 5:00 or 8:30 - 5:30, 9:00 - 6:00. You will l be asked to work one Saturday per month and may be asked to work occasionally during an evening. We will train the right individual.

**Responsibilities**:

- Making payments to insurance companies
- Manage commission statements
- Tracking within a proprietary software program
- Client Refunds
- New Business Processing
- Promptly respond to either on the phone or electronically.
- Maintain accurate files and process routine correspondence between our agency and companyboth paper records and on our different software programs.
- Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED is required. Must have an accounting certificate or degree.
- Must be computer literate, type quickly and accurately.
- Must have previously worked in a business office environment.
- Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical and honest.
- Organized, structured and punctual and will follow the rules
- Knowledge of insurance policies, computer systems, carriers, and processing is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and a calculator.
- Having an insurance license is not required but desired.

- Bilingual isn’t required but is a plus as most clients speak Spanish and team members speak both English and Spanish.

**Experience Requirements**:

- Previous experience in commercial insurance for at least 2 years is a requirement.
- Certificate or degree in accounting is a plus.

**Wages and Compensation**:
We offer competitive wages between $25 - $35 depending on experience and if you already have an accounting certificate or degree. We offer the following benefits: Health, dental and vision benefits. 401K with a 3% match regardless of contribution. 5 days paid vacation. Holiday & Sick pay. Bonuses for a job well done when numbers are met with accuracy.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
