Are you an organized, high-energy person with a passion for direct patient care and holistic health? Stow Family Chiropractic is currently seeking a part-time Chiropractic Assistant with 1-on-1 patient care experience to work closely with the doctor and front desk to help manage office flow and administer supporting chiropractic modalities such as spinal decompression, myofascial release, and therapeutic laser, all in service to our patients achieving their health goals.
The Chiropractic Assistant is an hourly position with a fixed weekly schedule (Monday-Thursday, 30-32 hours per week). Previous experience with specific modalities not required, we will train the right person
**Responsibilities**:
Administer Spinal Decompression treatments prescribed by doctor including:
- Setting people up on the table and taking them off (no direct lifting required, but some support depending on the needs of the patient)
- Inputting patient information into spinal decompression machine per doctor’s instruction
- Monitoring the patient’s comfortability during their appointment and communicating with doctor as needed
Administer supporting modalities including myofascial release, percussor, therapeutic laser, digital foot scans, hot/cold therapy, and electronic muscle stimulation as prescribed by doctor
Support front desk in managing patient flow in the office
Field patient inquiries and coordinate responses from the doctor and front desk administration
Update clinical documentation as instructed by the doctor
Disinfect tables and clinical equipment between patients
Provide back-up front desk support as needed:
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, taking payments, managing office organization and cleanliness, etc.
Special Projects:
- Partner with Office Manager on any appropriate projects (could include patient outreach, process improvements, etc.)
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**
- **Direct/hands-on** patient care experience, **clinical not administrative** (1-3 years) - can include working in a traditional healthcare facility, practical internships, elderly care, nannying, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Superior verbal skills with the ability to communicate with patients in person and over the phone
- Ability to multi-task, re-prioritize quickly and smoothly, and stay calm under pressure
- Solid work ethic, integrity, enthusiasm, and high energy
- Ability to authentically reflect practice’s healing philosophy of chiropractic first and natural health with our patients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Google Docs/Sheets
- Familiarity with POS and/or other transaction or scheduling software preferred
- Highly motivated person that would love to be part of a team that is helping many get healthy and stay healthy
**Required Schedule**

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:15am - 6:15pm
Wednesdays: 2:00 - 6:15pm
~30-32 hours per week
**Physical Requirements**
Work is medium demand. Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Medium strength is required to assist patients.
**Work Environment**
Works in a doctor’s office setting.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 32 per week
