**Job Purpose/Description**
Accounts receivable duties include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying contracts.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Prepare bills receivable, invoices, and revenue schedules
- Processing incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve client’s billing issues
- Fill out customer required forms
- Daily monitoring of unpaid accounts
- Update account status records in accounting and customer management systems
- Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status to support cash flow models
- Monitor general mailbox
- Point of contact for other internal stakeholders
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Skills**
- 1-2 years experience as Accounts Receivable Specialist or related field
- Customer service oriented
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- General understanding of Sales & Use tax a plus
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- BS degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration
**Working Conditions**
Hybrid work in our beautiful Cardiff office at least 3 days per week will be required. Some company events and travel may be required for this position.
**Physical Requirements**
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
**Salary Description**
$30.00 - $35.00/hour (depending on experience)
