**Fair Labor Stds. Act Status**:Non Exempt

**Summary**:To facilitate to all aspects of the receiving and shipping departments and offer additional clerical support.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to follow directions and written specifications
- Must be comfortable handling chilled and frozen products and moving from office to cold environments multiple times a day.
**Special Requirements**:

- Must posses basic computer skills
- Must have a high degree of customer service skill
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be able to operate or learn to operate a fork lift and other associated powered equipment.
- Must be available on all production days unless otherwise authorized by management.
- Familiar with Excel spreadsheets/formula, data entry & adding machine
**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in food production or processing
- Previous experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or logistics, with knowledge and or certification on power equipment.
- Bilingual English./Spanish
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for proper entry of shipping, receiving, and inventory data
- Responsible for filing of appropriate paperwork
- Communication with both internal and external customers
- Balancing of inventory as well as organizing outbound product shipments
- Record maintenance on all shipping and receiving documentation
- Organization of customer samples
- Other duties as assigned by management
