- **Position Overview**:
Under the supervision of the IT Manager, the Revenue Cycle Analyst, Epic Business Analyst III position is part of the Operations & Technology Services Department. This position serves as the technical liaison between end users and the Epic Revenue Cycle team, while partnering on identified system enhancements and optimizations. They will provide training, coaching, and support to Billing staff in order to achieve improved financial and operational outcomes for the Department.
- **Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Conducts patient account mergers as required. Manages and updates, staff resources and Payor information in the EHR system. Performs routine systems, processes, and documentation audits as required.Leads EHR new orientation or upgrade training sessions regarding system workflows and features. Collaborates with vendors on all software development initiatives. Assists and/or develop dashboards, and basic reports for end user reporting.-
- Responds to end-user issues that are reported via the ticketing system and document problems and solutions within the ticketing system. Escalates any issues appropriately using the proper method of escalation within the organization or to the vendor.**Harris County is an Equal Opportunity Employer**-
**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Associate's degree in computer science, IT or other related field.

**Experience**:

- At least three (3) years of experience working within a Health Care Environment.
- At least five (5) years of experience in a technical support role.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and training on electronic medical record systems.
- Knowledge pertaining to billing revenue cycles.
- Knowledge of medical or business related terminology.

- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines**Physical Demands**:
- Some duties would require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and bending & standing for periods at a time. Travel may be required.**Work Location**:
