**Description**:

Are you interested in an industry that is rapidly changing due to market forces and environmental regulations?1-800 Radiator & A/C is the largest provider of automotive cooling products in the country and one of the largest independent auto parts wholesalers. Our products include automotive cooling parts (radiators, air conditioning, fans), fuel management parts, starters, alternators and batteries.We are seeking a customer sales representative for our Westchester County, Bronx and Manhattan territory. Our location is locally owned and you will be reporting directly to the owner. You’ll also be collaborating with a team of peers focused on helping our customers succeed in their small businesses and providing our broader community with high quality auto parts. You will answer calls from customers, help them identify the part they need, and arrange for the sale, delivery and payment for the part.This job can be done remotely, and is considered part-time.**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Answer calls from customers looking to buy parts, including identifying their personal details, the vehicle they are repairing, and the part that is needed to repair the car
- Schedule delivery of purchased parts, including asking customer for payment method, hours of shop / store, and their location
- Identify gaps in our inventory and order parts from others including competitors and other 1-800-Radiator warehouses to satisfy our customer’s needs
- Overcome customer objections to purchasing using thorough knowledge of industry, competition and marketplace
- Make outbound follow-up calls to convert people who called for a quote into a sale today
- Share customer feedback with your manager and team to improve customer service
**Required Qualifications**
- Demonstrated ability to perform customer service well
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team of fellow employees
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- For remote work, home internet connection
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in call center environment
- Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish
- Knowledge of automotive aftermarket business, especially prior work experience in automotive retail or wholesale environments
**Shift Length**: 8:30am to 1:30pm, Monday to Saturday**Benefits**:
