An Am Law 200 firm with a nationally recognized Project Finance and Public Finance practice is seeking an associate to join their Rochester or Albany offices. This is an opportunity to be part of an innovative team handling a wide range of financing transactions for municipal, healthcare, educational, and infrastructure projects across the country.
With roots dating back to the 1850s, the firm has grown to around 600 attorneys working across 15 offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia. As a full-service firm, their attorneys do noteworthy work in areas including corporate, real estate, government investigations, white-collar defense, healthcare, and intellectual property.
**What You'll Do**
- Work on innovative financing transactions with the Project Finance and Public Finance team
- Gain experience in secured lending, corporate finance, real estate, and public/project finance
- Opportunities to work on matters involving tax law and tax-exempt entities
- Collaborate with colleagues in a team environment
- Build relationships with clients and within the firm
**What You'll Need**
- Entry-level or up to 4 years of transactional experience
- Strong academic credentials, judgment, and communication abilities
- Commitment to excellent client service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
**What They Offer**
- Anticipated salary range: Rochester/Albany - $140,000 to $180,000
