PARK Senior Villas at La Canada is hiring a Maintenance Director at our Assisted Living & Memory Care community. You will have overall responsibility for ensuring the physical plant, FF&E, and grounds are maintained in excellent condition. Plan, organize, schedule, and complete a broad range of maintenance duties performed by a Maintenance Department consisting of the Director and Maintenance Assistant.

**Essential Duties**:

- Maintain grounds including outside building repair and lawn maintenance in cooperation with the landscaping contractor and garbage removal services
- Maintain all areas inside the building, including offices, to include, but not be limited to: cleaning and shampooing furniture, window cleaning, and the maintenance and replacement of vinyl floors, painting, plumbing repairs, drywall, and all other repairs as needed.
- Maintain and oversee repair of facility equipment in order to ensure proper function
- Respond to work order requests in a timely manner.
- Utilize the computer maintenance system as required.
- Prepare and refurbish rooms for resident move-ins; including painting, replacement of vinyl floors and installation of ceiling fans
- Inspect resident rooms for potential problems and hazards
- Housekeeping Assistance
- Dietary Assistance
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and heating/air conditioning mechanical equipment and systems. Additional certifications a plus
- Assisted Living maintenance experience a must
- Computer experience a must
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a fingerprint clearance card
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be TB Free
- CPR/1st aid training required
- You must be able to lift, carry push, pull >75 lbs
- You must be able to stand, bend, climb, squat, and be on your feet for long periods of time.
