**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Review and Process patient accounts, including verifying insurance information.

Follow up on outstanding balances to ensure prompt resolution and payment arrangements.

Communicate in a friendly manner with patients and insurance carriers to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues.

Maintain accurate documentation of billing activities and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient account services, hospital billing or revenue cycle management.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret billing documents and Explanation of Benefits.

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPPAA and Medicare\Medicaid guidelines.

Excellent computer skills with the ability to type 45+WPM.

Bilingual in Spanish OR Creole
