**Mobile - Heavy Duty Diesel Service Technician - **This is a specialist level, where Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians are assigned responsibilities for performing highly skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of Prevost buses/coaches at our customer’s facility and roadside service. Responsibilities may include trouble-shooting repair needs which are difficult to identify, independently completing major repair projects.

**Mobile - Heavy Duty Diesel Service Technician Core Responsibilities**
- Work independently as a mobile Technician utilizing a Company Vehicle or Service Truck/Van, with mínimal supervision.
- Diagnose and repair electrical. HVAC, suspension, pneumatic, brake, and other systems
- Respect and care for the customer and their equipment
- Develop personal professional and technical skills on an ongoing basis
- Foster teamwork and communications
- Comply with the quality and safety standards of the organization
- Diagnose and repair customer equipment.
- Complete documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

**Mobile Heavy Duty Diesel Service Technician Knowledge, Skills & Ability**
- Pass required aptitude test
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Go to type person in areas of expertise
- Ability to look up parts efficiently and independently
- Assist customers over the phone with technical issues and general questions
- Be proficient in electronic media and laptop use

**Mobile Heavy Duty Diesel Service Technician Education & Experience**
- High School Diploma or G.E.D required
- Completion of 2 years of Technical School (Diesel) program or equivalent mechanical experience
- 4 years of qualified mechanical experience substituting one year of related technical school training for a year of experience

**Mobile Heavy Duty Diesel Service Technician Minimum Requirements**
- Possess comprehensive set of tools required
- Ability to read and write
- Lifting heavy objects up to 49 pounds
- Standing long periods of time
- Exposure to extreme weather variances
- Undergo a Motor Vehicle Records check
