**COMMERCIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN-PROPERTY MANAGEMENT**

**SUMMARY**

Commercial Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the caretaking and repair of assigned properties. They must be able to work unsupervised while performing quality maintenance to property grounds, seasonal landscape, buildings, unit doors, and entry gates. They must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. Customer service is very important and must be displayed at all times.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years' experience in the maintenance field.
- Proficient at using a smartphone and computer.

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have own tools, we provide larger/specialized equipment.
- Travel approximately 60%
- Valid Driver's License.
- Pass a Criminal Background Check.

We have a teamwork dynamic, where each member is called upon to share ideas and expectations. We are a very progressive group, with a focus on keeping The Storage Mall at the top in terms of customer experience and offerings.

Due to our recent growth, we are actively seeking a new team member. This person will be responsible for executing high standards of maintenance and curb appeal at our 6 Wisconsin area storage properties. Properties include Grafton, Pewaukee, Mukwonago, West Bend, Appleton, and Shawano. This is a full-time position, between 35-40 hours a week, and will require 5 days a week (typically 1-2 properties per day) depending on the number of projects ongoing at the time. Travel is required, must have a reliable vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed.

The maintenance staff is responsible for routine upkeep, janitorial, and light maintenance to possibly include cutting locks, light landscaping, latch or door repair, unit turns and other periodic programs. They will be active in the delivery of a best in class curb appeal and customer service to our current and future tenant base.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
