The Production Technician operates the world’s most advanced high tech HTS production line and this plant is the foundation as MetOx begins scaling production dramatically over the coming 5 years - quickly reaching the massive quantities that some of the world’s leading energy companies have said they need.

The Production Technician role at MetOx will operate specialized equipment that manufactures, processes, and packages high value quality product. Working in the clean HVAC controlled high tech manufacturing environment, the Production Technician will use sophisticated control systems that are part of the equipment to dial in the recipe, monitor, and operate several pieces of automated equipment. The Production Technician will develop skills and knowledge about how that equipment performs that will make them a key resource in minimizing any equipment disruption and a “go to” source of insight for engineers who are designing next generation equipment.

**The Duties**:
In addition to the key operations role mentioned above (upholding the safety program while operating and monitoring the facility equipment needed for production), the Production Technician will utilize problem solving skills to diagnose and adjust company machinery to ensure maximum performance to support the functions to result in a smooth safe optimized operation. In addition, each piece of equipment will produce extensive data for our new industry-leading data lake and analysis systems. This role will be a beneficiary as we take that data and develop AI and machine learning systems to enhance manufacture.

In summary, Production Technician is a ground floor opportunity in shift work at a new 24/7 manufacturing facility that produces a product for energy transitions. Duties are highly varied, providing the Production Technician the chance to develop expertise on multiple high tech automated manufacturing systems along with the opportunity to solve problems and find ways to improve operations.
- 2-year degree is expected, although high school graduates with strong experiences will be considered
- AAS degree in process operations/technology is a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
- The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions is required.
- Able to climb stairs and work on platforms that are about 10’ high.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

The following qualifications are preferred:

- Working within a safety program, potentially including handling hazardous waste.
- Process control experience.
- Manufacturing work such as operating equipment, lean manufacturing, and collecting and analyzing field samples.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting pumps, compressors, forklifts, and scissor lifts.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
