**Description**:

- We are seeking a Lab Technician to join the Packaging team, which manufactures plastic components for the sealants business.
- This individual will collaborate with another team member to conduct mechanical (physical property) tests on plastic packaging parts, including cartridges, syringes, and plungers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct tests to measure the dimensions of plastic parts using tools such as calipers, height gauges, and other custom-made equipment.
- Operate equipment like the Instron force tester to determine the resistance between moving plastic parts and a weight drop tester to assess the impact resistance of the plastic material.
- Record test results using basic Microsoft software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) on the lab computer or laptop.
- Perform physical tasks related to lab organization, including moving boxes, labeling, & arranging plastic part samples, and maintaining the workspace.

**Opportunities**:

- A college degree is not required, but a high school diploma is necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour
