Commercial Truck Rental Outside Sales- Entry Level

TCI is looking for an ambitious Salesperson for our commercial rental division. The primary responsibility of the Outside Rental Account Manager is to secure rental business that will maximize rental revenue and related fleet utilization.
Responsibilities will also include responding to leads through TCI's marketing system, closing and updating leads and opportunities, conducting related sales activities as discussed. Forecasting, pipeline review, keeping activities current in Salesforce system and conducting professional presentations.
TCI is dedicated to the growth and development of our team. This entry-level role offers the potential to advance through training and our mentorship program. Opportunities to advance to a Lease and Dedicated Contract Account Sales.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Prospect for all lines of TCI business.
- Daily sales calls (100+ cold calls per week)
- Track and record call activity.
- Promote rental and all lines of business via sales initiatives.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong ongoing relationships and communications between new and existing accounts.
- Must be goal oriented with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in weekly meetings.
- Report on activity weekly and input data into Salesforce.
- Meet with Rental Managers and Inside rental Reps to review potential prospects.
Bring new and innovative ideas to the table to streamline the sales and improve the customer experience.
Provide excellent customer service and promptly address any customer inquiries or issues
Focus sales efforts on TCI core business.
Build relationships, solve issues, and assist customers with their individual needs to promote strong customer retention.
Occasionally support inside rental operations.
Regular worksite attendance is an essential function of the job and is necessary for a variety of reasons including but not limited to teamwork, face-to-face collaboration, and working with items or equipment that are at the place of business.
**Key Qualifications & Requirements**:
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills, programs, and processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated with a collaborative attitude
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically current versions of Excel
- Superior customer service skills.
- Goal oriented. "Can Do" attitude, and strong energy level
- Valid Driver License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly computer literate with the ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently
- Strong data organizing skills
**Compensation and Schedule**:
- Total Compensation starting at $60,000 annually (base + commission)
- Car allowance and Fuel Card
- Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
