Location: Westfield Valley Fair Paid Parking

Hourly Rate: $25.00 Full Time

Schedule: Open Flexibility

The Spirit of the Position:
A **Garage Supervisor** will oversees the facilities of the garage and/or surface lots and ensure preservation of the location.

- Proficient in basic computer skills in the parking revenue control system
- Able to work with or without supervision
- Able to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view.

What will I do?
- Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies and procedures.
- Assist in establishing performance standards, recommending and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.
- Responsible for running any reports related to daily revenue, credit cards, garage data or other reports requested by management.

Assists with periodic training as needed.

Greet by/use name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the company.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or GED is required.

**Experience**:

- Supervisor experience is required.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Some lead experience is a plus.
- Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

**Skills**:

- Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
- Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
- Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

Physical Demands:

- Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
