**Responsibilities**: Develops, designs, and conducts one or more research projects and organizes daily operation of projects and specialized research areas to ensure work meets established objectives under moderate supervision.
- 30% Conducts research experiments according to established research protocols with moderate impact to the project(s). Collects data and monitors test results
- 5% Operates, cleans, and maintains organization of research equipment and research area. Tracks inventory levels and places replenishment orders
- 15% Reviews, analyzes, and interprets data and/or documents results for presentations and/or reporting to internal and external audiences
- 5% Participates in the development, interpretation, and implementation of research methodology and materials
- 20% Provides operational guidance on day-to-day activities of unit or program staff and/or student workers
- 5% Performs literature reviews and writes reports
- 10% Recruits study participants and manages their study participation, including scheduling
visits, obtaining informed consent, enrollment, data collection and quality monitoring, and
monitoring of study sessions for consistency.
- 10% Collaborates closely with other research specialists and lab staff to ensure oversight of all research studies

**Qualifications**:
Required:

- Knowledge base relevant to mental health, addictions, substance use disorders, and/or related focus.
- Knowledge base relevant to vulnerable populations.
- Experience with maintaining a high level of attention to detail through data entry and use of databases.
- Knowledge of research confidentiality/privacy issues.
- Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) and interact professionally with research participants and team members.
- Ability to adapt to different work environments (office, clinic, hospital) and to work independently in virtual formats.
- Ability to collaborate with team members while following team and research protocol and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at any given time.
- Experience with and demonstrated ability to read, understand, and follow a strict and specific scientific protocol required.
- Ability to be resourceful and independently solve problems.

Preferred:

- Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Self-motivated and goal-orientated individual with excellent organizational skills.

Travel is required. Must provide own transportation or a valid driver's license and eligibility for Car
