**THERE IS NO EXPERIENCE AT AXE THROWING NECESSARY OR EXPECTED**
- **Evening & Weekend availability is REQUIRED**_**. SATURDAYS MANDATORY.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**

The Axepert is expected to safely guide new and veteran axe throwers through their time on site. All while ensuring that each and every customer has the time of their life releasing their inner lumberjack as they chuck axes safely and accurately. You will be responsible for providing a positive and awesomely fun customer interaction from the time they step in the door until they depart.

**Duties include**:

- Safety**:Ensure all safety guidelines, protocols, and equipment requirements are met without compromise.

**-Coaching**:Train and guide customers through proper axe throwing techniques and provide continued coaching throughout their axe throwing experience to help them improve their throwing. Allowing them to have a memorable and exciting experience at our facility.

**-Equipment/Facility**:Ensure equipment, ranges, targets, and other items are all ready for sessions, groups are beginning and ending on time, set up for tournament/league play, game scoring/facilitating and other duties as assigned.

**-Other Duties**:Customer sales (merchandise, ticketing etc), concessions (beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, pre-packaged snacks), participant check-in/out, set-up/clean-up, maintaining a clean facility, assisting with reset & small repairs to targets (training provided) etc. as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communications skills, speaks clearly and concisely, good sense of humor, is a people person.
- Leadership skills are a must. Confident/take charge personality in group settings. Ability to manage group dynamics.
- Works well as a team and with others. Inclusiveness for coworkers and participants.
- Proactive thinking an action are a must. Does not wait for problems to occur.
- Experience in entertainment, recreation, hospitality, education, or management.
- Enthusiasm and reliability. You will be expected to run your groups with little interference from management. You are the coach and responsible for the group.
- TABC (Texas Alcohol & Beverage Commission) certified a plus, but will provide training.
- Must be available to work evenings/weekends. Saturday availability required. Some day time/weekday shifts available on an as needed basis.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
