Neighborhood House is looking for a part-time Development Assistant to support the Development Department in all fundraising and marketing areas.
Position Qualifications:
- Must embrace the mission of Neighborhood House Association
- Must have 2 years of higher education in PR and Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of social media platforms
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Deadline driven and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and passionate communicator
- Excellent relationship management, interpersonal, and multi-disciplinary project skills
- Experience with PowerPoint, CANVA, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Position Essential Duties:
- Oversee production of social media materials and posting schedule
- Develop innovative content that enhances Neighborhood House’s current social media presence
- Assist in the curation of donor correspondence including written and digital communications
- Support program directors by creating promotional materials
- Develop and maintain media contact list
- Draft press releases for events and activities
- Support Development Director in planning and implementing events
