**COST ACCOUNTANT ($85,000-$95,000 annual salary DOE)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain a cost system that ensures accurate costing
- Prepare project cost reports and variance analysis
- Update standard costs and ensure accuracy in the Bill of Materials (BOM’s)
- Study and collect data to determine the costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor
- Month, quarter, and annual closing procedures related to cost accounting responsibility
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts timely and accurately
- Process wire transfers/ACH payments.
- Create and update documentation of assigned processes as needed

**Skills Needed for Success**:

- Solid financial acumen
- SAP experience greatly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- Three years experience in manufacturing cost accounting
- Enterprise resource planning (ERP) business management software experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment
- Authorized for employment in the United States (sponsorships not available)
- Ability to work Monday through Friday 9am-5pm
