Student Services Representative

The Student Services Representative provides Administrative Support for the Office Manager and Other Team Members. They provide assistance to students, they manage student records & payment schedules & they track student attendance.
**Job Requirements**:
- One to three years of office experience
- One year of customer service experience (or other related experience)
- High school diploma or GED
- Transportation or trade school experience is preferred
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Promote a welcoming environment to support students and the general public in person, online or by telephone
- Communicate with students, staff and the general public in-person and virtually about services, programs and requirements
- Work with applicants to gather all necessary documents to ensure student records are complete and accurate
- Assist in ongoing communication with students throughout their program.
- Manage Tracking Students Attendance to Ensure Accurate Records and Reports
- Conduct student transactions, maintain/update student and department records
**Skills and abilities**:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, flexibility and desire to work with a diverse team
- Desktop computing; troubleshooting basic desktop hardware and software issues, experience navigating databases and working with others virtually
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills; including the ability to work independently or with a team
- Maintain security and integrity of confidential student records
- Interpreting information, making determinations and recommendations
